Thanks a lot Svetljo for your prompt reply.

As S80_alps.patch has been replaced in version 23 (at least) nothing has
to be done.

But just before doing the simplified command:
rpm --rebuild kernel-sds-2.6.7-1.sds.23mdk-1-1mdk.nosrc.rpm --with
uponly --with win4lin --with swsusp2 --without apic

Thus you have to delete patches 97 and 98 (otherwise it won't resume).
So it means to get a new tar and a new nosrc.rpm
