No problem about that :-) about the suspend to ram, i do nothing particular.
I just compile a vanilla kernel, agp, dri, ipw2100, usb, alsa in module. I
can post my .config if anyone is interested. When i suspend, i just do a echo
3 > /proc/acpi/sleep while i'm in X (Xorg or Xfree4.3 from Debian). One time
(at the fosdem), i've try to suspend while the wifi is on, and it is
working, but i suspect that the chip is not set in standby mode (so more
battery drains). No framebuffer, no alps module.
