Hi!
Unfortunately, as I no longer use an rpm-based distribution
I don't know what the best way to convert this to an RPM would be. The
main problem with this is the installation of the perl modules. For
anyone who's happy using CPAN, this installation is trivial - perhaps it
could be scripted?)

I'll see if there's a nice way to add key mappings to the config file
for the next release - the problem is making something that is as
flexible as SonyXOSD is now, but isn't too complex for someone who
doesn't want to edit the sonyxosd script directly.

Well, that's true. You have to assume some distributon specific issues.
If I'll find some spare time the next days/weeks I'll try to package sonyxosd
in a SuSE rpm package. It shouldn't be so difficult because SuSE ships some
(quite a lot) perl modules as seperate rpm modules. Hopefully, I can model the
perl dependencies using rpm package names. But I have to check this. Porting
the rpm spec file and src.rpm package to other distributions than SuSE maybe
possible, too.

What is not working on a Sony Z1 under Linux? Nothing anymore?

It would be nice if someone put together a bullet proof recipe for getting suspend
to disk and suspend to ram to work on our sony z1 wiki page. This would basically
sum up the work of our friends Lus, Nicolas and Stuart (I hope I didn't forget anybody).
For the less experienced users some cusom kernel packags for our z1 would be
nice, too (rpms, debs, ebuilds tag.gz's etc.)

What do you think?

Bye, Jochen.
