Many thanks for these somewhat good news.
Would it mean that Alps patch will be filed in official kernel soon.

I will look at it when I have more time...

PS: I gave a try to 2.6.10.1 with standard swsusp: if resuming to ram is
ok (most important for me), resuming to disk could not be performed
easily and I had to power off manually (but resuming worked in most
occasions).
