Hello everyone,

I don't know what is the latest kernel from Debian because I track
kernel.org. So I am running 2.6.9 for the moment, very pleased and with
no other reason to wait for 2.6.10 :-)

I cannot recommend swsusp2 over anything else because I did not try
anything else. I can only report
* advantages
-# it works
-# it is fast (suspend/resume ~20 secs each)
* and disadvantages:
-# the synaptics touchpad is veeery slow after resume. You can
reconfigure the XFree driver, either by some magic tool I don't
know yet, or by restarting X :-P

It would be very nice if someone could confirm that the touchpad is
working as exptected with swsusp after resume.

As for supermount & co, I don't think they are needed with debian
because gnome-volume-manager and hal are available in unstable and work
well.

Just my 0.02EUR.
