Thanks to further feedback about the pre-release of SonyXOSD 1.6, I've
now uploaded a sonyxosd-1.6a version:

This updated pre-release fixes the following problems (thanks Ben ;)

* The right ACPI device is now read ("brt" rather than "brightness");
* The range of the ACPI output should now be correct;
* Look for a "spicctrl" utility, rather than "sonyctl".

Please test that update works both in text-mode and in X, and if
everything is okay then I'm well on the way to a full release in a
matter of days!
